Especially if you’re on the large side.

Is that really the plural of Miata? I thought it was just one word like Moose.

Your friend has that look on his face like he just ripped the biggest fart and is proud of it.

Yep. I tried to sit in an ND. I couldn’t get my leg under the steering wheel.

But the fun is MAKING it be practical! :O

Personally, I agree with this nomenclature and move that it become standard Oppolinguistics henceforth.

Doesnt the wheel adjust height in the ND?

I think the worst part for practicality is the cupholders. I just dont ever use them for anything other than coin storage due to the difficulty in shifting the car with anything else in there.
Although I find it hilarious any time I have brought my car to a mechanic or a valet, they are perplexed that I fit in the car without any issues. I guess you just get used to the “fitting like a glove” thing so I forget that people are used to living rooms on wheels.

It certainly does, and it was all the way up.

Honestly the cupholders in the nb2 are one of my favorite design feathers because they’re slightly offset to the right and far enough back that they don’t interfere with my shifting that much. Nowhere near as bad as my NA. That was ridiculous.

Huh, thats odd. The reaction you are describing in the NA is exactly how I felt when my girlfriend once decided to put a Smart water bottle in the front cupholder and I was unable to drive anywhere. I can sort of deal with the rear cupholder in use but it’s still mildly annoying. I am pretty sure they were designed with soda cans in mind which is kinda absurd.
